WEDDING IN ORVIETO IN A BORGO
In the beautiful antique 10th century Borgo Sharon and Mark had their wedding in Orvieto planned by Fabrizio Mengasini of italyprestige.com
Hairdressers were organized on site in the beauty spa room and the ladies that had fixed appointments were called in turns in the hairdressing room, whilst Sharon was given some time to relax before the hairdresser went to her room for her preparation.
The atmosphere was happy and you could notice the curiosity and excitement of everyone as all the decor started falling into place, beautifying the already beautiful location into a dream wedding in Italy - Orvieto. The photographer, Marco Miglianti were already clicking away to capture some preparation photos of the bride and groom separately before their union in the quaint little chapel on site, the florist arrived and delivered the fresh beautiful bouquet chosen by Sharon to her room and the buttonhole flowers to the men in the reception of the venue.
The wedding celebration time was near, all the guests were ready with their beautiful outfits and they started to fill the beautifully decorated chapel with white hearts and satin ribbon running down the edges of the aisle. Once all were the bride and her party entered the chapel with the grace of a princess as everyone applauded her. The ceremony was beautifully conducted by the English priest, who concentrated on the love shared by Sharon & Mark and the unification of husband and wife. Everyone greeted the couple and exited the Chapel to await the newlyweds for the showering of rice and confetti.
The guests were then ushered to the pool terrace where they were welcomed with a cocktail buffet, refreshments and appetizers whilst the newlyweds were swept away by the photographers for personal photograph shots before they joined their guests at the cocktail buffet.
The upper terrace was beautifully decorated with candles in heart shaped packets surrounding the whole terrace, tall glass cylinders with long white Calla flowers with 6-8 tea candles in little glass vases surrounding them placed as floral centerpieces on the round 8-10 seated tables and linen covered chairs. There was magic in the air and everyone gasped in surprise when they were ushered to their sit down dinner. Sharon, Mark and all of the guests enjoyed a delicious 4 course meal and partied all night long ….. an unforgettable dream day for Mark & Sharon but also for everyone present.
